Agreement
By creating an account, installing the app, or using the website, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you are using HisabKarlo for a shop or company, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that business.
If you do not agree, do not create an account and uninstall the app.
The service
HisabKarlo is a record-keeping tool. It lets you keep a digital khata, a cashbook, stock, and sales, print or share receipts, and work in Urdu. It is built to keep working when the internet drops, and to sync when a connection returns.
We may add, change, or retire features. A download from Google Play, the website, or a Windows package may not all offer the same features on the same day. We do not promise that a particular feature, printer, or Android version will always be supported.
Banners shown inside the app are notices we operate. A link in a banner may open another website. That website is not part of HisabKarlo, and these terms do not govern it.
Who may use HisabKarlo
HisabKarlo is for people running or helping to run a business. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that age is higher. The app is not made for children.
You must have the right to use the phone number you register, and the right to store the customer and supplier details you enter.
Your account
An account is created with a mobile phone number. We send a one-time code to that number. You are responsible for keeping the code private and for what happens under your account.
You may keep more than one business (karobar) under the same phone number. Give each business an accurate name. The name, type, phone, and address you save can appear on receipts.
Tell us at support@hisabkarlo.com if you lose control of the phone number. We may refuse a sign-in, or ask for extra confirmation, if a request looks unauthorized.
Signing out removes the session on that device. It does not delete the account or the copy of your books on our servers. Deletion is described in Delete your account and data.
Your business data
You keep ownership of the business records you enter: parties, khata, cashbook, stock, sales, and photos you attach. You give HisabKarlo permission to host, sync, display, and back up those records only so we can provide the service to you.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, for having a lawful reason to store a customer’s name or phone number, and for the promises you make to your own customers. HisabKarlo does not become a party to the credit you record.
Do not enter payment card numbers, bank passwords, or national identity numbers into notes or party fields. The app is not a place to store those secrets.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use HisabKarlo to break the law, including laws on fraud, tax evasion, or unauthorised collection of someone else’s personal data.
- Register a phone number you do not control, or try to enter another person’s account.
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the service, or bypass sign-in.
- Copy the app, the HisabKarlo name, or our branding for a competing product.
- Upload malware, or content that is unlawful, through a photo, name, or note field.
- Resell access to the service as if it were your own product.
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, or that puts other users or the service at risk. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will tell you why and how to appeal by emailing support@hisabkarlo.com.
Offline use and sync
Entries made offline stay on the device until sync succeeds. You should keep the device available and, when you can, open the app online so changes upload.
Sync can fail because of connectivity, an expired sign-in, a conflict between two devices, or maintenance. We do not promise that every entry will sync instantly or that two devices will always show the same balance at the same moment. Check important balances before you rely on them with a customer.
A receipt shared through WhatsApp or the system share sheet is handed to that other app. Delivery, storage, and privacy of that message are outside HisabKarlo.
Bluetooth printing depends on your printer, Android version, and the permissions you grant. A failed print is not a failed sale record unless the app tells you the sale was not saved.
Price
HisabKarlo is offered free of charge. We do not ask for a credit card to create an account. If we introduce an optional paid feature later, we will say what it costs and what you get before you are charged. Taxes that apply to your own shop are your responsibility, not a fee we collect.
Intellectual property
The app, website, logo, and the HisabKarlo and حساب کرلو names are owned by HisabKarlo / AntiGravity Labs or its licensors. These terms give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your business while you follow the terms.
You may not reverse engineer the service except where the law expressly allows it. Feedback you send us may be used to improve HisabKarlo without any obligation to pay you.
No professional advice
HisabKarlo helps you write down udhaar, cash, and stock. It does not provide accounting, audit, tax, legal, or banking advice, and it is not a substitute for a chartered accountant or for the records a law requires you to keep.
Balances and totals are calculated from the entries you supply. You must review them. We do not guarantee that a figure is fit for a tax return, a loan application, or a dispute with a customer.
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent Pakistani law allows, we disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and error-free calculation.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the law of Pakistan, HisabKarlo and AntiGravity Labs are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost goodwill, a customer dispute, or a tax penalty arising from your use of the app.
We are not liable for records that existed only on a device and were lost because the phone was damaged, stolen, or reset before those records synced, or because the app was uninstalled.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If we are liable for a claim relating to a free account, and a cap is permitted by law, our total liability for that claim is limited to PKR 5,000.
Closing an account
You may stop using HisabKarlo at any time. To delete the account and the synced copy of your data, follow Delete your account and data in the Privacy Policy, or email support@hisabkarlo.com with your registered phone number. We complete deletion from active systems within 30 days.
We may stop providing the service in a country, or close an account that breaks these terms. If we discontinue the whole service, we will post notice on hisabkarlo.com with a reasonable window, where practical, for you to request an export or deletion.
Sections that should survive — including your responsibility for your entries, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law — continue after the account closes.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Courts in Pakistan have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory right you have as a consumer under a law that cannot be waived.
If a court holds one part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If you keep using HisabKarlo after that date, the new terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the service and ask us to delete the account.
